Project Details

Children Who See The War is an NGO project that contains over 100 comics and posters of Ukrainian children telling their personal stories about the pain, fear, and hope they’ve been through since the beginning of Russia's full-scale military invasion.

Funds collected during the implementation of the project will be used for shelter construction on the territory of Kharkiv Schools of Modern Theater and Stage Directions, which will become not only a safe haven but also a creative territory for young artists.

The project included the works of students and teachers of the School of Modern Theater and Stage Directions, the Kharkiv Artistic Academic Lyceum, and the World Organization "Syorindzi-Kempo."

Project’s primary goal is to allow children to learn creative professions again within the school’s walls.

We have collected graphic works - comics and posters by which children tell their stories, convey their feelings and reflect on the war.

According to the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science, the school must have a decent civil defense facility.

You can view the artworks here and support the project: donate, pre-order a comic book, or become a sponsor of the project. The collected funds will be used to build a bomb shelter.

In other words, it is necessary to equip the territory of the school with a shelter to provide a safe place for children during an air raid.

The best works will be included in comic books. When we collect a certain number of orders, we will make the first print run and send you a copy.
